27th January - Tree Planting: we will be planting out trees that have been established in our nursey (from cutting/seed) into the wider woods.
February 3rd - Tool sharpening workshop (with ‘Proper Edges’). We will be learning from an expert how to sharpen and maintain our hand-tools (billhooks, scythes, axes). (booking is essential as spaces limited, 9am-2pm, meet Canteen carpark)
17th March - Paths and Access. Preparations for repairing one of our access points.
24th March - Coppice Products and Charcoal Making: turning our hazel harvest into sustainable woodland products.
We will meet at 9am at the Layby at the bottom of Maker drive (just up from Fourlanesend School). Get in touch via e mail/ phone below if you would like to come along. We will be working outdoors on rough ground so please wear suitable footwear and suitable outdoor clothing.
Also – we meet every Tuesday (weather dependent) for volunteer days. Get in touch if you would like to join us.

We have not been along all the pedestrian routes yet so we ask you use extra caution if you are entering the woods, if you there are trees or branches blocking the way please don't try to move/clear them yourselves but let us know. We will be in again over the weekend. Stay safe 🌳🌳🌳
