Volunteering

Become a volunteer

Pigshill & Clarrick woods provide a variety of volunteering opportunities to assist with the restoration, management and improvement of the woods. Volunteering is about much more than practical conservation tasks in the wood.

Regular volunteer activities are run throughout the year: we meet every Tuesday at 9am throughout the working season (September -March) with additional days for special events and through the summer season.

It should be recognized that some forestry management activities can be dangerous and physically challenging; health and safety requirements may limit the activities that some volunteers can partake but we often have a range of tasks suited to different abilities.
